Speedmaster planetary gears are cut with a straight tooth instead of the helical cut tooth. This offers strength and no thrusting while torque is applied. The 6-pinion front planetary carrier is made from K1045 billet steel. The 5-pinion front planetary is constructed from K1045 billet steel.
