This is a Speedmaster CS130 Delco style alternator with the mounting ear straight up and down . You can choose between a 1-wire (needs only the output cable) or plug-in that will use a factory regulator harness.
The response time is milliseconds, compared to the seconds for analog regulators. The vibration resistant housing provides protection against short circuiting and loss of ground connection.
